17/05/12 - Michael's latest work Three Mice Chillin' for oboe trio led by Megan Billing will be premiered on Friday the 25th of May, at Manning Clark House, Canberra (Tasmania Cir, Forrest). Guaranteed to get some laughs!

10/08/11 - ANU E Press have published Sung Tales from the Papua New Guinea Highlands - Studies in Form, Meaning, and Sociocutural Context edited by Alan Rumsey & Don Niles. The edited collection includes a chapter written by Michael Parallelism in Duna Pikono, and can be accessed here.
27/07/11 - Michael's String Quartet 'so she moaned, and as she uttered her moans' is one of four works selected in the 2011 National Composers Forum, to be performed by The Australian String Quartet and workedshopped with composers Matthew Hindson and James Ledger on August 14.
